Reflection

Today, I had to do a reflection on this team. I had to wrote down what I have learned, what I liked learning about and also what I would like to continue working on Next year.

This year I did my learning with Mrs Parker in a netbook classroom using Google Drive.

Having a netbook made it easier to write down your writing and your reading to it is fun to.  When you need to do a lot  learning  A netbook makes a lot of things easier because you can send a doc to other people.  

This year I learned… A new sratty in maths with my teacher Mrs parker she told us if it goes 4 times 3 is = to something you can go 2 times 4 is = 8/8+2=10 then the answer is 10. I learned about reading

too my teacher disarmed the best reading activities in reading a read about ruby,plants,world war,Pluto, We know now that Pluto is a dwarf plants.

I did research on… plant with a group of people we learn about Uranus and the temperature and the weight,Heat,Weather,to and all kinds of things.I researched on the world war 1 and 2 we learn about the world war because .

The thing I enjoyed learning about is

I still want to learn more about the earth and the plants because when you get bigger you can teach your sister or brother about the earth and the plants.

The class trip/activity  I enjoyed most this year was go to the stardom because you can learn about the stars and New things we don't know. And you can get a lot more information to your work   

am proud of the way I have worked and now I can try to do better I have learned a lot of new things that I did not know about.

I am proud of the way I have did in maths,reading because when it comes to learning and staff

Next year I am going to do better in my writing. Next year I am going to try and achieve my goals by the end of the team and year.

Friday night

On Friday me and my family went shopping to look for our cloths for glenbrae school’s prize giving Frosted we went to get my brothers cloths and shoes at Otahuhu. It was really fun after that we went to get our shoes from the warehouse we went by car my dad left us there than he will come back and pick us. At the end we had something to eat than after a while my dad came to pick us up and he came with food to. But our stomach was full all really. after we went to the warehouse to get our shoes we went to get us our food and junks like chicken milk and all kinds of   thighs then after that we went back home to were so tired and felt like we were not even alive. But after that we went to sleep.  

. Whittaker chocolate

Today we did something cool with our teacher Mrs Parker. 
Mrs Parker had made this amazing chocolate tart and but a picture of the lovely cake, that she shared with her neighbours and her family. When she posted that picture, she also tagged Whittaker's in her tweet. Whittaker's got to see that post and contacted Mrs Parker. They wanted to post this image on Facebook, and if Mrs Parker said yes, she will give a box of chocolate. 
Mrs parker said yes, and she did send Mrs Parker are box of chocolate. 
Mrs Parker said that she is a teacher and she would like to share some chocolate with her students here at Glenbrae School. 
She give us chocolate from the Whittaker's factory. The flavour was hokey pokey chocolate, creamy milk and some berry biscuit chocolate. Mrs parker told us to smell,feel,and look and the weight and size and what it tasted like. The chocolate felt like creamy sticky sweet on our hands. When I smelt the chocolate it reminded me how I used to love chocolate when I was so little. 
If I could create a flavour I might like to try chocolate with peanuts, Oreo on top with some little  Nuts and other Adding ingredient. If I could create a flavour it will be dark chocolate with creamy peanut inside and some little Nuts on the outside. 
I would pick that flavour because they could taste the Nuts and the peanut the peanut would creamy and tasty because some people would like to eat creamy peanut with nuts it would be creamy and tasty. Then after that she told us to go and write about the chocolate.  

At the end when we  finished the chocolate people had chocolate all over their mouth and lips it was really funny.

Google Expedition

Google Expedition

On Tuesday we went to a virtual world trip in room 3 when we got there we all sat down. When Mrs parker had the ipad that can control the cardboard smartphone inserted she could go anywhere she wanted.  When we first got it we were so amazed looked kinder funny and it felt like I am really in their but I it wasn't. it was cool and fun to. My favourite part of the Google Expedition was when we went to the sea there were lots of sharks to it was cool when we saw this pig tultul we were laughing.

My Next favourite part was the time when we went to the solar system to look at the plants it was cool and fun also we saw the moon and the sun,the sun was in the middle and the other planets were orbiting around the sun. We saw are spaceship and it looked

kinder funny. After we looked at the spaceship we were looking at how does the earth goes around the sun it was so cool looking at the moon and the sun and also the earth.

It really fun and cool I would want to come again and try it again.

On Tuesday Tamaki college students came to Glenbrae school to teach us sports.  

We got separated into groups. Next we went up the field with our student coaches.

First up we talked about ourselves, then after that we played a fun game called octopus. The coaches picked the taggers. The game was cool, when we played the game I was happy.  The game was really, really fun. After that we all had a rest. Next, we played another game called train tiggy, there had to be are tagger and the tagger had to run and tag the other people. After the tagger tug them they had to hold hands and get the other people. It was really fun and I was so tired.

After we played the game. We played another game called Capture the Flag. We had to get into groups and the teams had to get the ball out of the circle they had made. It was a really fun game , but we were also thirsty and tired. After that we played another game it was called Touch. It was a really easy game, but they added some new things in the game we played it and it was really fun to.  

After we played we all went into the groups the girls were playing  a running game we went into groups and when we played it I was all really tired. After that we went back down to the court so we could go back to class. When we got to class we were all so tired. But it was really fun.   

Stardom trip

 On Thursday the glenbrae student  went to stardom to learn about the plant and the solar system. But first all the class had to go to the hall after that we all had a talk with our principal than we all went one by one into the bus when we went in the bus i was all really tired. When I sat down next to my friend’s I went for a sleep. By the time we got there we went off the bus and had a talk next we had to go where we can have our morning tea. When we finished having our morning tea room 7 and room 8 went inside the stardom area fisted we all talked about the sun and the plant’s and how it orbiting. After we all talked about the pant’s and the solar system we all went outside one by one we looked at the other things for a short time.

After we looked at the things we went inside the classroom  it was dark and cool we sat down on the chairs and the dirtier was talking about the sun after we had a long talk we watched the movie it was about the seasons and how it is orbiting around the sun there were different kinds of seasons it was really fun learning about the seasons after we watched the movie we all went out of the room we went to have our lunch I had a piece of apple and some unhealthy thighs to eat than after 10 minuets we all went to play it was fun and cool we all wanted to go on the octopus and the sky fox we had only one hour to play around after we played I was so tied the teachers told us to stop playing we went into the bus when I sat down I went for a sleep by the time we got there we went to the hall to talk.

It is really fun.  When we went into our classroom we all had milk it  I learned about how the earth's orbit around the sun and I learn about the seasons to.

Desired: In autumn, the leaves start to change colour. They change to red, yellow, and brown. Also in  autumn, the leaves start to fall off of the trees. That is why autumn is also called the fall.  

In Winter  the trees and plants stop growing. Deciduous trees shed their leaves and plants grow slowly because the days are shorter and colder.

In spring it is warm coze like are heat.

On Sunday me and my family went to church at pukekohe it was a long way going there but I love going to . church First we woke up and bushed our teeth's than we went to the kitchen to do breakfast next we went in to the shower one by one after we all had a shower we had to get dressed up nicely into our clothes after that we went by car to church  it is fun. At church we have to sit down listen to the thigh's that the people is going to tell you. But first they will say something about you and god and than we all have to close our eye;s while they are saying the brae than they will talk for about 1 hour than we go off home and eat. 

My Weekend

On Saturday me and my family woke up early because we had to make sure our house is clean and tidy because someone special it coming to stay. When we worked up we started cleaning up we cleaned out the car,toilet,kind and bed room's.  After that we went by car to the airport to pick up my mum's uncle  up. By the time we got home me and my mum was cooking something for us to eat. After that we went to the park with my family to just play a little bit by the time we started play for a short time we went home so we can get really to go to sleep but before we went to sleep my dad did are pear.

My story

My name is Natalie Grace Ling-yun but everyone calls me yani and I live at dunedin, I was born in china. When I was eleven years old I did something amazing without my parent. I travelled to shanghai,china,where I went to school for six weeks than I came back In a few days my dad decided that have need to go to school so they were talking to wallace about my school holidays in so wallis had a great idea that I should go to school in china for a while My parent has been keen for me to learn But my parent were dubious that I had never been away before. My school is called pingHe Bilingual school I was with twelve girls. I am tall for my age even in new zealand and I felt like are giant I was happy that I got to come to china and learn

How Mummies were made

How Mummies were made

After death, the Egyptians believed there was an afterlife.  Because a body would be needed to enter the afterlife, the Egyptians mummified the dead body.  

Firstly the body was placed on a table.  The embalmer removed the internal organs, [apart from the heart], with a steel hook through the nose.  

After the body was emptied, linen was placed inside the body to suck up the moisture.  Then the body was covered with salt and left for forty days to remove any leftover moisture.  After forty days the linen was removed from the inside of the body, and sawdust and spices were inserted.  The sawdust and spices,[ expensive and hard to get], were required to help keep the body’s shape.  

Next it was time to wrap the body.  The head and neck were wrapped first with white linen and then the rest of the body parts.  Finally a spell book was placed in the hands of the dead body.

The final resting place of the mummy was in a tomb.  Because the mummifying process was very expensive, only the very wealthy were able to do it.

I think Pluto was known as the smallest planet in the solar system and the ninth planet from the sun. from now on Pluto is called a dwarf planet. A dwarf planet orbits the sun just like other planets, but it is smaller. Pluto was are plant put now it is a dwarf planet because international astronomical union decided that pluto should not be a plant from now on.

I am grateful for

This year I am grateful for my blogging and working as are student in room 7 in my blogging I have worked hard in my in October i am the blogger of the month and i am happy.

I am also grateful of my sport I have been doing in October the 12 we went to meet the silver ferns I love doing my sports because it is can make you fit and healthy and fit

I am also grateful for my school i love my school because i have learnt a lot of thighs everyday it is fun in glenbrae school.

At the end of the year I want to achieve in my reading and maths I want to get the highest mark I have ever had
