My cuboid

Mrs Raj taught us how to measure and make a net to create a dimensional shape. I made a cuboid. 

My cuboid has 6 faces, 12 edges and 8 vertices. It is a rectangular box.

Boxes are made to hold or store things. Boxes are used for packaging.

I really enjoyed  learning about 3D shapes and creating one with Mrs Raj It was fun. 

My Circle

What is a round figure that has no edges, it can be a clock, it can be the shape of the earth and all of the planets. It can also be the shape of a pizza.

What is the shape?

(A: A circle)

A circle is all points in the same plane that lie at an equal distance from a centre point. The circle is only composed of the points on the border. You could think of a circle as a hula hoop. It's only the points on the border that are the circle. The points within the hula hoop are not part of the circle and are called interior points.
