WALT: identify adjectives in noun phrases.

This story gives us lots of information about planets but what bits are facts (True) and which are fiction (made up)? Complete this graphic organiser to detail all of the information from the text.

The clouds were covering Venus.

  1. There are endless ocean beneath the cloud in Venus. There are floating islands and in that island there are oceans and wave as high as a mountains.

This story uses many adjectives (describing words) to describe the nouns (planet's, oceans and mountains)

Locate some noun phrases and underline the adjective.
eg. there were enormous trees
     the fluorescent clouds

In 30 years our phones will be like a little phone that can text and it will look funny. You can call some people. The screen is going to look like are brown and funky looking you can call people in just different country.your phones will look like a different shape it will be old it will have different songs. it doesn't need internet to go on something.

My story



My name is Natalie Grace Ling-yun but everyone calls me yani and I live at dunedin, I was born in china. When I was eleven years old I did something amazing without my parent. I travelled to shanghai,china,where I went to school for six weeks than I came back In a few days my dad decided that have need to go to school so they were talking to wallace about my school holidays in so wallis had a great idea that I should go to school in china for a while My parent has been keen for me to learn But my parent were dubious that I had never been away before. My school is called pingHe Bilingual school I was with twelve girls. I am tall for my age even in new zealand and I felt like are giant I was happy that I got to come to china and learn

Some Dutch people wanted to come to new Zealand but the reason why they came because it is more safer then Holland and is
not a safe place for the people who lived their because in Holland  their was a war and the.y wanted to go to new Zealand But now they wanted to stay back in Holland.


Some people lived in new Zealand because
the Maori people killed 4 men and
that makes Holland a Bad place for the people who lives their they were sacred.
